Dr. Nathan Campbell is a graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in Biochemistry and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City. In 2008, Dr. Campbell joined the Phoenix Pain & Rehabilitation Center bringing with him a solid background in helping people reach their health goals. Dr. Campbell has a strong interest in sports medicine as well as prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.
As a part of the multi-disciplinary approach, Dr. Campbell feels passionate about continuing to educate both the Arizona business and medical communities by speaking to insurance companies, physician groups, attorneys and the public on the benefits of skilled Chiropractic care. Dr. Campbell offers state-of-the-art techniques and treatment plans to his patients that include: diversified technique, Sacral Blocking, Thompson Drop, Cox Flexion/Distraction, Active Release Technique®, Neuromuscular Re-education, Graston Technique®, and various spinal rehabilitative methods to achieve optimal wellness for his patients.
Dr. Campbell is a certified provider of Graston Technique®. Graston is a patented, progressive instrument assisted technique that utilizes specially developed soft tissue methods to speed recovery and improve performance in treating injuries to muscles, tendons, and fascia.
Dr. Campbell is also a full-body Active Release Technique® (ART) credentialed provider. ART is a patented, state of the art soft tissue management system that addresses problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves that often result from overuse injuries. Dr. Campbell has received advanced training in nerve entrapments and biomechanical analysis from Active Release Technique.
Dr. Campbell’s training has allowed him to provide care to some of the most elite athletes in the world. He has participated in the Tempe Ironman® Triathlon as member of the ART treatment teams. During the races, Dr. Campbell helped participants prepare and improve for the race by addressing their musculoskeletal injuries and biomechanical deficiencies.
Dr. Campbell is currently pursuing certification as a Chiropractic Sports Physician and a Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
